From the 2006 my site had been cracked for several times. How did the story get started?

Time has showed that Russa is still one of the most popular and stable navigation system, which prevents its users from being cheated by some tricksters. From the 2006 my site had been cracked for several times. How did the story get started? From the theft.

For the sake of money, two criminals stole all the source codes, information and materials from my server gisrussa.com and deleted the originals. So later on, this stolen version of Russa became the platform for their "new products - Navitel" which just "has been created". That's why I always call Navitel company, the company of thief's - same goes with their products.

One of the criminals - Konstantin Galichsky - in the heat of the moment confessed his crime in public. It happened at the forum of Russa at 4 of April 2006:
- They blocked access to the site and forum for Igor Sapunov and all the users whose nickname resembled "sim77".
- While archive of CVS was being constructed, Denis (the system administrator hired by Igor Sapunov) was fired without knowing it.
- Mail of Igor Sapunov and all employees which were hired by him had been blocked.
- All the sites from the server had been archived.
- Galichsky had decided to start a new site, made from backups.

Two months later police of Dolgoprudny announced their verdict (but at the same time, they confess that they are not competent enough for this issue. More than this - that they actually had been corrupted):
1. Yes, crime had taken a place
2. Police can't tell for sure who actually was the criminal
3. It's impossible to get the information who is the criminal, because there is no Internet in police office of Dolgoprudny
4. The name of the criminal according to servers records - Denis Pershin
5. It's impossible to initiate a legal proceeding, for the reason of LACK OF INTERNET in the police office.

So what is our conclusion: the name of the second criminal (and co-founders of the thief's Navitel company) - Denis Pershin. It was his name, that was also mentioned by Galichsky at 4 of April 2006.

P.S. 'Secret service agents' reported me, that Navitel started huge black-PR compain against me. They told to the mass media that they have had a court case against me and won it. Awesome!

But had they seen my name in the column 'defendant'? No! it’s lie again! But just in case, next time, if there will be a real court case against me - please inform me about it, I will mark it in my calendar :)

P.P.S. Galichsky had been complaining that his name wasn’t mentioned in some article. First of all, article was about all project, not only about maps engine (he participated only in this part of work). But if you’ll check my another posts you’ll see how wrong, unloyal and criminal he was. After all that he did to the projects, his claim sounds ... irrelevant and unadequate.

According to Russian law, all developers have “right for their name” (if you open  Russa and check page “About” - you can see all the names there). But it’s funny to imagine all developers and programmers of Windows, starting to sue some magazine, after it forgot to mention all their full names after short review about Windows Seven. Or, for example, it’s funny to imagine all 300 developers of NavNGo through the court trying to get the name of the main author of iGO (program for GPS-navigation). In civilized society programmer makes programms, then gets paid and has his name mentioned at the page “About” - that’s it. In Russia everything works in totally different way.

So it’s not strange that thiefs steal more and more and all Russian intellectual elite immigrate abroad for the safer life.
